Retail Signage

Retail Signs are usually placed in the front of a home or business when its being sold or rented. These signs are fairly simple, most of the time they have the name of the Realtor and the company which he/she works for. The only other thing on the sign is the number to contact, no information about the house or building unless they have an informative sheets attached to the sign for people to take. What makes these signs are the structures that boarder them. They are usually white and they have an authentic look to them that makes people know its a for sale/rent sign as soon as they see it. Although the signs are simple and do not contain a great deal of information, the info that is does give you is very important and needs to be clear and easy to read from the street. Its important if you are to use one of these signs that your producer gives you the best image possible, to make you and your company look more professional.

Although most of the time this type of signage is used for realty is can also be used as a  business road sign or the main sign to a building. If you have a business on a piece of property it would not be a bad idea to have a sign like this labeling your business with the street address and phone number. Like I said earlier they are very distinct and grab peoples attention. You can have the same type of frame that a realtor sign has but with a different style. This will grab the attention of your street viewers and let them know that you are located there. These pieces show professionalism that makes your customers realize your the people to go see for whatever product you offer. Visit us at Laser Sharp Sign Design and we will start assembling your new sign giving you the professional look your customers seek for.

Stripes

When thinking of ideas to wrap your vehicle stripes are always a good way to add character to your car. The original down the center stripe is not the only one in style anymore. Although it is still a great look many car manufactures have started to have more slim and sharp stripes down the sides of vehicles then the big solid one over the top and hood. You can really change the look of your vehicle just by having a stripe, you should focus on the lines of your vehicle and design a stripe that follows in order to give your car that sharp look.

Now comes the installation of your stripe. Laying down a stripe on a vehicle is a careful process which you want to take time with. You want to be sure that your stripe is strait and that it also does not crinkle or rip. There are a few ways to lay down a stripe, all which need some precision  First you can lay down the color vinyl that you want the stripe to be. Once you have it on the part of the vehicle you want you can make the necessary cuts to get rid of the excess vinyl and be left with your stripe. Another way to have a perfectly strait stripe is to use cutting tape. This is like a painters tape that you lay down under the vinyl you want to cut. So you would put the cutting edge of the tape where you want your stripe to start/finish. After placing the tape where you want it you lay your vinyl stripe, then you simply pull from one side of your tape and it make a perfectly strait cut for your stripe. Stripes are an easy and inexpensive way to add some charisma to your vehicle, use creativity to give your vehicle a custom stripe.

Rim Wraps

Sometimes when you change the color of your vehicle the color rims you have don’t look as good anymore, but that doesn’t mean the style you have doesn’t still look good. Now instead of having to buy a new rim you can get them wrapped a different color. Whether you want something as simple as black or even chrome and gold. Any color you choose could be placed on your rims to better suit your car. If you are able to change the color of your car whether you wrap or paint it, changing the color of your rims is a good investment that is cheaper then buying new rims.

The idea of being able to wrap your rims really extends the creativity that you have in color, style and design. This gives you the ability to      have multi-colors and custom designs that no one else will have. Not many people know about being able to wrap your rims, its something that hasn’t caught on yet but will soon. Give your car its own unique rims for the best look.

Wrapping Fleets

There are two ways to use fleets of vehicles to improve advertisement of your company. The first way is if you are the owner of all the vehicles. If you have 20 vehicles for your company that drive around every day they are being seen by hundreds of thousands of people. If you advertised on your vehicles the amount of people to see your company name, logo and information would be through the roof. With the simple installment of wraps on your vehicles you have increased your advertisement immensely.

Secondly if you are a small business owner without any company vehicles, make some calls and advertise on another companies fleet vehicles. This may cause for payment to the company and for the wrap but, if you get 10 out of the 20 vehicles someone else owns you are know advertising all over town without having to drive around or spend your own gas money. Take advantage of fleet vehicles, they do nothing but spend their days on the road and for every mile they travel is another 100-200 people you can be advertising to.

Boat wraps

With spring coming quickly the weathers starting to get hot and its becoming time to take the boat of the dock or trailer and put it in the water. Instead of starting the season off with the same looking boat as in past years make your boat different then everyone else’s.  Add your own custom style with a vinyl wrap which will be able to handle the intensity of the water and make sure you are recognized on the water. As you can see in the image below a boat wrap will cover the whole side of the boat to where you can see when submerged in water. This is done because the impact of the water against the boat would tear your vinyl quickly and unless noticed and fixed fast enough it will ruin the whole wrap. The bottoms of boats are not meant to get color changes for that particular reason whether it is a wrap or paint.

Boat wraps are a great way to advertise also. There are many people on the water through out the year and if you have a business that attracts boaters then it wouldn’t be a bad idea to advertise that business on your boat. Even though you might not be able to get on the water everyday this form of advertising will still generate the most views that your company gets from the type of consumers that you want to bring in. No more just fitting in with the crowd make yourself stand out and be noticed.

Magnets

Say your not interested in completely wrapping your vehicle or dont have the money at the time. You can get a magnet, of any size, to put on your car at your discretion. You can use them for advertising, with all your info and logo, or you can just have an image of your choice, Such as a football or baseball. Magnets are in  expensive and easy to apply.

Digital Signage

With all the new technology hitting the streets, its just a matter of time before signs are all digital. With higher resolution it is easier on the eyes, helping people to pick up colors and visuals better. It also allows for an advertising system where more then one company can be advertised on a sign. With the ability to play through a few different images it makes it easy for multiple companies to advertise with one sign. Digital signage is also great to display dates of sales or events. They are able to give a statement allowing viewers to get some details about the company or event rather then just a name. This is an awesome advertising tool that is not used effectively in today’s advertising. It would be the equivalent of having a commercial on the sign in front of your building. They have casing that protect them from water and any other elements. So no worries about repairs, another advantage is that your sign wont fade or wear out.

Look at New York City, the place it lite up from building to building. Producing thousand of advertisement for all different companies.

Wrap Care

If you have transformed your bland old paint job into a unique or business advertising vehicle wrap, I would like to congratulate you. You have now successfully put your car into a new realm that will have all the people on the streets looking your way. Having a vinyl wrap is different then a paint job and requires a little different care.

1) Automatic car washes are now out of the question. The high pressure water and bristles from the machine will cause damage to your wrap and costly repairs. You should hand wash your car with a sponge, and a low pressure or mist of water. If you have to use a high pressure water system be sure to stand back at a distance and not to hold the stream on one point of the car, doing so could cause a tear in your vinyl.

2) When using wax, be sure to hand wax your car and DO NOT use a buffer. There are different kinds of wax, be sure to use one that is suitable for vinyl such as turtle wax. If you go to get your vehicle detailed be sure that they also use a wax that is vinyl friendly. Waxing your vehicle will keep your wrap clean and polished and also make it easier to deinstall of the wrap, leaving little to no adhesive behind.

3) Avoid parking under trees for any long periods of time. Sap from some trees can damage your wrap causing you more money.

4) If you have window perf it should be waxed as well. It will give your perf a longer life span and help the lamination. Do not use high pressure on the window perf as well, it can also cause damage.

Be sure to protect your wrap, it is an investment and bad care can cause to money down the drain.
